Security tokens

What are Security Tokens for?

Security Tokens are used to authenticate programmatical requests to ResIOT services. At the moment they are used for:

- Sigfox access
- API access
- HTTP Receivers access

It's important to understand each security token can be configured in order to work only with the desired services.

Create a New Security Token

Head to Settings -> My Settings, under the Security Tokens tab. Select which services you want your token to have access to and make sure to enable it.

After Saving, your newly created token will be displayed in your settings page.

Revoking access to a token

Revoking access to a service to a token can be done by either of the following:

- Disabling the token
- Removing the token
- Unchecking the service you don't want your token to have access to
